No injuries, and the system worked great. I used the side position and ran a good portion of the course (power-walked the rest). Having the system so snug on the side was tremendous. There are many steep hills on the Arrowhead course and the system handled them all and provided adequate control for the big climbs and descents. I would be happy to recommend this fine piece of well-crafted equipment.

I've been meaning to drop you a mail. Life has been a bit hectic since getting back from Alaska. If you followed the race you'll know I dropped out after about 120 miles with a left foot that had swollen up so much ...... Andy made it to Nikolai and had other problems.
Anyway, the poles, what can I say, superb. The two piece set up worked fine, they didn't come undone, flex was perfect as far as I could tell. Andy and I kept commenting on how well the whole set up worked with the sled attachments and the harness. There was very little play in the system and the sled tracked perfectly. I should mention we both ran the poles parallel rather than crossed.
I'd be happy to recommend your whole system to anyone wanting to use them for a similar walk as ourselves.

I wanted to let you know that your ski pulks are extremely durable! The snowmobile that stopped to give me a ride did not have a trailer, so I kept my harness on and towed the sled just like that. I figured it would tear the harness or something, but everything was intact! I was hesitant to ride like that, but everything turned out fine. What a durable sled and harness!!!
